Wir machen mit unserer Katze mehrfach im Jahr eine Kur mit Yumove. Nach etwa 3 Wochen merkt man, dass sie deutlich leichter geht. Sie hat an diversen Stellen Arthrose, springt nicht und humpelt viel. Hat sie länger geschlafen, sieht man richtig, wie steif sie geht. Mit Yumove haben wir den Eindruck, dass sie nicht mehr diese Anlaufschwierigkeiten hat. Sie springt zwar nicht, ist aber deutlich wacher und aktiver und humpelt nicht mehr. Die Kapseln sind recht groß und über das Futter gegeben, werde die Kapseln (und dann auch das Futter) gar nicht angenommen, sodass wir die ganze Kapsel mit einem Pillengeber geben. Das klappt gut. Wir werden Yumove nun wohl zukünftig dauerhaft geben.

Unsere 12 Jahre alte Katze hat seit etwa 1 Jahr Probleme mit ihren Gelenken. Wir haben die Empfehlung bekommen, es mit Grünlippmuschel-Pulver zu versuchen. Wir hatten erst ein anderes Präperat, dass zwar deutlich Wirkung zeigte, aber unserer Katze nicht schmeckte. Seit etwa 3 Monaten haben wir nun dieses Mittel und sie mag es und es wirkt ebenso gut.

I bought these to add onto my cats food as she is starting to get on in her years. She previously fractured her pelvis about 7yrs ago. At the time the vet didn't operate, instead she had to stay in a special cage for 6 weeks to let it fully heal...she hated every minute. The vet did warn that once she started to get older she would more than likely have problems with her mobility, esp her back legs. Cats are very good at hiding pain and so it can be hard to know when they need to start needing a bit more extra help.
I had noticed that she was spending more and more time indoors asleep. We originally got her from a cat rescue centre, she had been in a family home with another cat but was bullied which made her stop eating and her coat was very dull and she just wasn't happy.
I had previously lived in a large house that had a huge garden backing onto fields, she would often catch mice, birds and even a squirrel once was left on the doorstep by her...how she managed that I do not know to this day as it was nearly as big as her!
When we moved to a more modern house with a much smaller garden and lot's of other cats in the same road, she became very timid and nervous. She stays to a set area, she is still a bit of a diva, only coming in the front door even if the back gate is open. If on occasion she has to jump over the back gate (waist height) she has sometimes landed in an odd way. I started giving her the supplement everyday sprinkled on top of her food. We have really noticed a difference, even to the extent that we can often hear her going crazy upstairs chasing her cat toy and having that 'look' in her eyes when she wants to play and run around. She's back in charge of the dog, although he sometimes doesn't understand that she doesn't want to play all of the time.
I think they have really helped her joints, esp hips and back legs which before were sometimes stiff.
She's a much happier cat, I will keep giving her the supplements as they really do seem to be working. It can be so hard when your pets can't tell you they are in pain or what is wrong so can be a guessing game on trying to help. The supplements are good value (cheaper than buying directly from the vets too) I would def recommend trying if your cat seems to be slower and more wary of jumping or playing.

5-year-old cat with hip dysplasia began suffering badly with mobility in one hip, to the point of being unable to walk further than a few metres, climb up stairs, or access his cat tree. On vet's instructions, we began a conservative approach to treatment (leaving hip joint surgery for further down the road) and began administering anti-inflammatory medication, YuMOVE supplementation, targeted exercises and adaptations to the home environment.

We followed the instructions of 2 capsules a day for six-weeks, then down to 1 capsule a day thereafter. There were never any issues getting my cat to eat it as part of his wet food and it mixed in easily with the foods we use.

It is now more than 3 months from initial diagnosis. Cat has reduced medication use from every day to just a third of the original dose only every 4th day with no return of symptoms; this is very positive given cats' tendency towards kidney problems.

Additionally, mobility has continued to improve week-on-week. Within 4 weeks of the medication and supplementation, before we started targeted exercises, he was climbing his cat tree again and playing with the other cat in the house. This happened steadily even as we reduced the medication he was on first in amount and then in days administered. Now, at 3+ months, he is back to jumping around (though a little more cautiously than before) and has mostly returned to his old mobility.

Unable to say how it would have performed alone, without the medication and other changes, but it has been valuable in restoring our cats mobility, hopefully for a long time given that he is such a young cat, until surgery becomes a necessity.
