O autorze

Sam Taylor, M. Ed is a Technical Curriculum Developer and education advocate in the Bay Area. She drew on her experience both being a middle school STEM teacher for five years and teaching herself to code to start a blog for posting simple HTML and CSS tutorials. These tutorials blossomed into The Coding Workbook. Sam lives in the Bay Area with her partner and their plants.

I originally bought a copy of this workbook for myself, however I gave it to my 10 y/o nephew and he was thrilled to have it. My nephew has a mind for numbers and science and I figured he would do very well with the workbook! Now he knows how to build websites with HTML/CSS. I ended up buying another copy of the workbook for myself as a resource for my own coding journey. This workbook is kid friendly, very informative, tangible and fun to learn.

Although I do a lot of programming it was quite some time ago that I made a web page. Hence I bought this book as a refresher course. The text is quite clear and this book is an example of how books to teach oneself ought to be written. It is also very entertaining. Apart from HTML this work shows CSS as well, which was new to me. Books by this editor: “no starch press”, are all of a very high standard and available through Amazon. I wholeheartedly recommand this book.
