5,0 z 5 gwiazdek Bags galore!
Opinia napisana w Wielkiej Brytanii dnia 1 września 2012
I bought this book because I wanted some inspiration to restart my own work and so far it's worked! It is a visual treat for any person interested in art/craft work. The descriptions of the work are good and if you wanted to replicate the artwork shown it would be easy to follow. There are useful web addresses and suggestions for stockists. My only wish is that I would have liked a wider selection of textiles usage, but to be fair the book does not set out to make fabric bags so it is my own fault for being seduced by the lovely photographs. This is only a minor problem! If you are a crafter you will value this book for its factual information- if you are like me and love books for their visual treats I would recommend this one.

5,0 z 5 gwiazdek Great ideas, good techniques
Opinia napisana w Stanach Zjednoczonych dnia 24 listopada 2008
My intention to stop buying books about making stuff took a nose dive with this one. I own about every one published, and need no more - would need two more lifetimes just to do the techniques from the ones I already have. However, after leafing through it in a bookstore, I came home and ordered it on Amazon and am glad I did. I just plain like it and have gotten some new ideas. I probably won't make bags, but will translate the techniques into small art quilts and perhaps other little pieces of art. Well done - nicely photographed, and certainly I would put this on top of any "to buy" list of art/craft books. The book is certainly a good deal more than you might expect from the title. I would suggest taking a look at it before thinking you might not want to make bags from paper - this book is way more than that.

5,0 z 5 gwiazdek beautiful and inspiring creations
Opinia napisana w Stanach Zjednoczonych dnia 9 kwietnia 2015
awe inspiring creations that would provoke conversation and compliments any time you take them out for an airing. my only negative is that i'm ignorant of some of the terminology used for methods and supplies ...BUT... that's remedied with a little research.

4,0 z 5 gwiazdek Impressive techniques for incredible handbags of all types
Opinia napisana w Stanach Zjednoczonych dnia 17 stycznia 2008
I hesitate in giving it a 4 or 5 star ranking. The bags are amazing; however these details in production of these - even the basics - are NOT clear enough for those with little to even intermediate experience in papermaking and the products she suggests using. One product used was not described as to what it was until 50 pages later and after searching the index and my own references from other sources! Yet the final product is truly amazing and makes me want to practice with my own techniques and knowledge as it is difficult to make even one bag like the ones shown. I know it is not good to copy others art, but at least if I could make one like those in the book, I know I can explore my own designs with a bit more confidence. It is true that many of us have tons of incredible paper libraries due to the scrapbooking and paper art phase of late. It is nice to use these papers and make items of incredible interest as the author has done. Outstanding...but in the next edition PLEASE provide clearer instructions and an explanation for the products used (i.e. what they are, where one can get it, and the possible safety issues of it).
