Das Buch ist toll! Habe die gebundene Ausgabe, welche von Haptik und Gestaltung her gefällt.
Leider brauchte der Versand länger als in der Bestellung angegeben, bzw. wurde der bei Kauf angegebene Versandzeitraum nicht eingehalten und einfach nach hinten verschoben! Das ist mir kürzlich schon mal passiert & das nervt extrem, wenn man das Buch zu einem bestimmten Datum haben muss! - Deshalb nur 4 Sterne, Buch selbst = 5.

Zum Buch:
Es werden sehr viele Künstler und ihre Hauptwerke vorgestellt. Bei jenem aus dem 20 Jh. ist nach dem Portrait jeweils nochmal kurz ne Zusammenfassung zu ihrer Pionier-Rolle angehängt.
Die Einleitung selbst habe ich noch nicht zu Ende gelesen (da hat es mich weniger gepackt). Die Künstler-Porträits sind jedoch super!
Auch hat sich die Autorin ein schönes Gestaltungskonzept ausgedacht, welches jeweils die Position (Eco Approach, Art Genre, Eco issue, Art strategy) des Künstler in einer "Info-Grafik" aufzeichnet.
Das Buch dient mir sehr gut als Überblick über Eco Art, als Nachschlagewerk und um verschiedene künstlerische Ansätze zu vergleichen.

Habe mir erst überlegt, das Buch als Kindle zu kaufen, mich dann aber dagegen entschieden wegen der Bilder. (Meist schlechte Qualität auf dem Kindle). Es hat jedoch nicht allzu viele Bilder (pro Künstler 1-3) und die sind auch schwarz/weiss. Hat jemand mit Kindle Erfahrungen dazu?

Kaufen & sich freuen es zu lesen ; )
