O autorze

Jannie Bui Brown has been a yoga teacher for over 20 years. Her practice is infused with her deep connection with tarot reading, gemstones, their energetic properties and how they support the chakra system. She is also an artist creating healing jewelry. All profits of her business are donated to non-profit organizations that are healing the world.



James Brown IV, is an artist, whose mediums range from film making to digital drawing. He is the founder of the small production company Spontaneous Productions and has spent the last few years drawing this deck, reading tarot, writing scripts, and creating original comic content. The Sacred Web Tarot is his first publishing experience.

It's a nice deck. I like it's themes. I don't love the illustrations but that's personal taste. I have like 32 decks and my favorite is "Diablos" so you see this style does not cater to me that much as it might do you.

The first thing I noticed is the big box-which is absolutely beautiful, you open it and see the guidebook….This guidebook is hands down the most comprehensive, detailed book I have ever seen come with a deck. There is 249 pages and it has so much information in it, and that alone is worth the price. Then, you get to the cards….they are not super thick cards stock but not super thin either. The artwork is so unique and beautifully done, the intuitive messages you can receive just from that alone is one of the best things about this deck. Some of the cards in the major arcana have different names, the suits are the elements, and the court cards have different names; but have no worries the guidebook has all the information you need to understand all of these things. This is the best impulse purchase I have ever made; I immediately, before even using the cards, sent texts recommending it to my sisters.

I'll talk about one thing first that makes it a bit more confusing to use this deck.

This deck is amazing and I'm glad to have it in my collection but one thing i want to point out is that the cards, every one except for the extra card are numbered like: IX, VIII, X, III and etc.
This is difficult, I've started learning what numbers they are but a few months back that used to be really confusing and tiring if you want to get to know the deck and you're not used to looking at the numbers in general in the major arcana AND the minor arcana. No titles like; Ace Of cups, 6 of swords, 9 of Wands, no, you literally only get those numbers like I mentioned before.

But putting that to the side, I love how the cards shuffle, for both my overhand shuffle and the casino shuffle.
The cards are flexible and not the thickest but they feel matt and soft to touch.
The art is beautiful and the book even explains easy parts about the symbols and animals they put in the cards.
The box is huge and thick and strong and the book is as big and strong as the wild unknown tarot deck book. But there is no smaller box inside the huge box, meaning that although the box is beautiful and strong and nice to touch, it's really huge and will take some space.

Another really beautiful part of the book is that it has amazingly deep explanations for the cards, with the intention of wanting the reader to focus on what will help them in every situation of the cards instead of simply talking about the actual meaning of the cards, which can sometimes be confusing when for example;

You're asking tarot what you should focus on, and you get the 7 of swords and when you don't know much about tarot or "how" to read it you could easily get confused because the 7 of swords generally talk about lying or deceiving or hiding and then a new reader could think; "uhh what? I should focus on lying or something? That doesnt make sense..." (Just a silly example)
But this book would remind the reader with this card to be honest with yourself and its easier to read for the ones who are not intuitively looking at the cards or are a bit distracted; like me myself sometimes.
In other words, the book can explain what you need to do or focus on without letting the reader force themselves to look at the actual meaning and find their own understanding of how they can interpret the cards.
At first it caught me off guard, I did not expect it to be so good and deep!

And one of the times I actually feel like i want to leave my thoughts about a deck, which is very rare.
But-oh, I digress.
If you are interested, I'd really recommend buying this deck. It looks really fancy too.

The kit comes with a great guide book and the box is sturdy, able to carry in a bag without damaging the cards. However, the cards are so thin and of poor cardstock that many cheap replicas offer better cardstock and printing than this deck. Wear and tear on card edges when when they are new, with some edges showing some bend due to the poor and thin cardstock. It's a waste because this is a great deck, able to compete with The Wild Unknown Tarot. Without the guide book and box, I might as well buy a replica deck with better cardstock at $5.
